The magazine floorplate is smooth and snag free. The laser grip is activated by that black pad (left arrow) under the trigger guard. The switch in the grip (right arrow) turns the laser on and off.
The laser beam comes out of the hooded piece on the top of the grip. The laser enhance usability, our shooters said.
We like the larger beavertail on the Kimber. It amply protects the web of the shooter’s hand.
