We liked the strong beveled profile applied to the front of the P2000 V3. The single-slot Picatinny rail on the dustcover was more universal than the proprietary groove found on previous models.
The rectangular lever on the rear of the slide (arrow) was the decocker. This made it possible for the gun to be holstered and decocked in one sweeping motion. Decocking with the gun level with the target was best performed with the weak-hand thumb.
