The difference in bore between the .30-30 model (left) and the .444 Marlin is substantial. The heavier barrel of the .30-30 BFR gave us added control.
Call it the Big Top or old Flat Top, these guns are huge. The .30-30 Winchester model has an unfluted cylinder despite the tapered cases inside.
Sight radius? We got your sight radius. At 50 yards, the open sights on the .30-30 BFR and the .444 Marlin BFR were visible enough to shoot 2- and 3-inch groups.
