GUN TESTS GRADE: C
Everyone liked shooting the SLB 2000, but we thought the lack of a scope mount was an unnecessary burden for a gun in this price range. Few companies have tried to produce a semi-automatic rifle along the design of the BAR. The HK SLB 2000 offers some desirable changes but still needs a little work to make it more practical, easier to live with and worth the extra money.

Like the HK's trigger, its bolt action (note lugs) was as smooth as butter.
The rear sight of the HK was out of the way of a scope, but was windage adjustable only and provided only a short sight radius.
