The Clark Custom Caspian conversion was a fine handgun, but we thought it didn't come up to the Wilson's standards. It was very accurate, however.

We liked the look of the "diamond" pattern checkering.
Daggers on the ejection port (above) would gouge the unsuspecting hand. Clark has a "Meltdown" version that avoids this.
The Clark mainspring housing, was nicely checkered to match the front strap, above right. The 20-lpi checkering on the Clark front strap gave an outstanding grasp, but try finer checkering before you decide. Clark also offers stippling as a less costly option.
