Chamber condition could be checked visually through a cutaway in the barrel.
The basepad of the six-round magazine added length to the grip. Graphics were handsome, and we liked the sweeping contour that reminded us of the Browning Hi Power. But the checkering was not really effective. The addition of a snagproof slide catch (arrow) made handling the LCP safer and more convenient.
