We liked the magazine floorplate release located inside the trigger guard. With one hand, we could easily open the magazine and catch the falling rounds.
The rear of the barrel and the action were both approximately the same diameter, and the barrel was free-floated all the way back. Fluting on the barrel was probably supposed to aid cooling, but it didn’t seem to help much, if any. Still, the flutes did look nice, and they shaved some weight.
We found using the left-hand thumb to be the least awkward way to press the bolt release. The internal magazine held six rounds, despite its diminutive outer dimensions.
