The bolt unlock button was blended into the contour of the bolt handle. This allowed for the bolt to be removed with the safety on. The gloss finish on the walnut stock greatly enhanced the appearance of the X-Bolt Medallion.
Browning's X-Lock Integrated Scope Mounts were w perfect fit. Made for Browning by Talley Manufacturing, Inc., they cost $60 (from Browning.com).
Browning's Inflex Technology buttpad did a good job of moderating recoil. But we still recommend wearing a recoil pad for added protection during range-firing sessions.
