The X-Mark Pro trigger was superb, offering about 4.7 pounds of resistance as delivered. Pull weight could be reduced by turning the Allen screw located at the top of the trigger counterclockwise. The square-shaped tab located forward of the trigger served as the bolt release.
The stainless action was highlighted by a jeweled bolt.
The stock was handsome fore and aft. The buttstock favored the right-handed shooter, however. Remingtonís new SuperCell recoil pad was a welcome addition.
