Kimber Rimfire Target Conversion 22 LR

Read Gun Tests Rating and Recommendation

The various parts of the Kimber all show fine workmanship and care in manufacture. The bushing is stainless, the barrel was match grade, the sights were matte black, and the 10-shot magazines were polymer. This setup gave excellent accuracy and worked well on three different 45 frames.

We liked the front serrations, the overall look and the fine finish of the Kimber conversion. It worked very well even on this modified Norinco frame, which is very tight to its original slide. Those grips are by Kim Ahrends.
The light Kimber slide was another example of excellent construction and careful workmanship. It worked the same way it looked, which was very fine.
Here's the rear sight of the Kimber. It features fine serrations and matte finish for outstanding visibility. The rear is fully adjustable, and the front is slanted rearward to give the sharpest sight picture, just what target shooters need.
