With the cylinder removed we see the base pin running across the cylinder frame. The button on the forward part of the frame just below the pin line is the base pin latch. Machined precisely to prevent unwanted playŚ what could be simpler?
The rear sight sported a V-notch and white vertical line at the center.
The front sight was installed from the muzzle end. It featured a thin contour capped with a brass bead.
Scope rings and the integral scope mount, which was all but hidden in the cuts of the flat top barrel, were a real bonus. The ejector rod, spring and ejector rod control tab are visible underneath the barrel.
