Not showy, but providing nice class to the field gun, the silver nitride receiver with roll engraving of flushing birds on both sides was a nice touch in upgrading the X25 line.
The shape of the forearm was not your typical Schnabel, but we liked the feel of the design and the way it helped the shooter glide into targets.
The invector DS chokes that came with the Model 725 lived up to their billing with the Modified choke producing a very solid pattern at 30 yards. The number of hits in the 20-inch circle were excellent and were the best results of all our patterning-board tests.
