Comfortable to hold and easy to aim, the pistol’s ergonomics did not translate to recoil control. The light “Quick” trigger should be balanced with added safety features, in our view.

The rear sight was sturdy and windage adjustable. Elevation could be adjusted by replacing the front sight, but the PPQ was dead-on at 15 yards. The rear face of the slide did not provide a cocking indicator.
Alternate backstraps were held in place by roll pins. We found all three components provided a comfortable grip, and we think just about everybody should be able to easily index the trigger. How much they helped control muzzle flip was another matter. A black punch was used to remove the backstrap in case the shooter wanted to change grip profile. The panels could be changed without fear of losing the pin.
The bottom outer rim of the trigger guard was hinged, providing a method of ejecting the magazine from either side of the grip. Immediately above, we see a safety integrated with the trigger. Centered just above the trigger were the flush-fit takedown latches (arrow). The ambidextrous slide-release levers offered sweeping lines on the frame on both sides of this handsome pistol.
