(GunReports.com) — Guncrafter Industries’ new “Frag” pistol gets its checkering pattern inspiration from the MK2 Pineapple Grenade texture pattern.

The Frag is available in 5-inch Government and 4.25-inch Commander-sized configurations. Guncrafters, best known for its 50GI 1911 and 50GI Conversions to fit Glock pistols, also makes 1911s in .45 ACP, 9mm, 10mm, and .38 Super.

The Frag’s front strap is complemented by the matching grips with the same profile. It’s available in several finishes. Pricing for the Frag isn’t listed on the GI website, but similar models start at $2695 and run up to $3185 in the potent 50GI chambering.

Besides the Frag, GI’s current lineup includes the American, the No Name, and the CCO.
