Crosman Introduces Two New Electric Soft Air Rifles
ROCHESTER, New York – With the soft air market still the fastest growing category in airguns, Crosman has added two new auto electric guns (AEG) to its line for 2008. The two new models, the Pulse R71 and the Pulse R73, each have features and benefits that set them apart from the competition.
According to Crosman’s product manager, Jim Masseth, AEG has become a market favorite. “The events and skirmishes players are involved in today require a rapid fire, high velocity easy-to-use gun. Electric AEG equipment like these two new models are what the serious soft air player looks for. They have all the bells and whistles, great styling and high capacity loaders for continuous rapid shooting.”
The Pulse R71 is a 6mm soft air electric assault rifle featuring semi and full auto modes, a high capacity gravity fed hopper and adjustable hop-up for increased, long range accuracy. The new model builds on the success of its predecessor, the R36 spring model, with a similar look and feel. The Pulse R71 comes with a rechargeable NiMH battery and UL charger, an adjustable stock, removable compensator, a tri rail mounting system and a 600 round hopper. The Pulse R71 generates muzzle velocities of up to 200 fps and retails for $69.99.
The Pulse R73 electric soft air assault rifle’s design updates the look and operation of the Pulse R70. It features fully automatic operation, a see-thru gravity fed hopper, an adjustable stock and comes with a rechargeable NiMH battery and UL charger. Its military M4 styling and high capacity 500 round hopper make it ideal for scenario play. The Pulse R73 generates muzzle velocities of up to 225 fps and retails for $79.99.
