This comment is in regards to firing line subject tracker durability specifically contributing editor Robert sadowski’s Feb. 2015 evaluation, he gave reasons for their downgrading to B ,one being a lack of muzzle crown which was puzzling to me because where the rifling ends the porting chamber begins by design. To my limited knowledge muzzle crowns are a good way to protect the rifling and/or correct burrs or imperfections in the rifling at the end of the barrel. In this case the protection is achieved by the .5″ porting chamber or do I have this wrong? I was going to comment on this back when I first read it Feb. 2015 but obviously never did and by the way I’ve had this tracker in 44mag. since early 2008 and it’s held up very well. I check the cylinder end play on occasion and it’s always well within Taurus specs! Keep up the outstanding work, from a very long time subscriber…
