Framingham, Mass., Dec. 22–TALO Distributors is producing a limited edition Ruger Stainless Vaquero celebrating John Wayne’s 100th Anniversary. The stainless .45 LC is a 1000-unit followup to TALO’s original blue John Wayne completed in December 2007.

Each 4 5/8-inch-barrel revolver comes with a factory serial number with the prefix JWV001-JWV1000. John Wayne’s signature decorates the barrel. The bright polished frame is embellished with American scrollwork originally designed by artist Lee Griffiths (www.lgartistry.com). Grips are checkered hardwood that include the initials “JW.”
The package features a box sleeve and booklet. Shipments from TALO/Ruger wholesalers to stocking dealers began December 1, 2008.
