(GunReports.com) — Arizona’s Gunsite Academy has teamed up with Crimson Trace to develop a class that covers the use of lasers in the academy’s Modern Technique of the Pistol instruction.
“Many past Gunsite clients have asked about the use and application of laser sights on their personal defense handguns,” said Gunsite training director Dave Starin. “So this new course covers the practical use of laser sights along with various tactical applications, plus the benefits and limitations of visible lasers.”
While learning to use standard pistol sights, Gunsite students completing this innovative course will also learn when, where and how to use laser sights in a variety of personal defense conditions and environments. The course includes two evenings of low-light shooting experience and practice.
The 2014 course dates for the Laser-Integrated 250 Defensive Pistol Course at Gunsite are May 5-9 and November 3-7. Contact Gunsite Academy at (928) 636-4565 for more information.
