The all-new 817 Varmint combines the sleek style and handling of the standard 817 bolt-action with a tack-driving bull barrel. Chambered in the sizzling .17 HMR caliber, the action rests in a touch black synthetic stock and features a 21-inch free-floating barrel and recessed muzzle crown, combining for superb accuracy.
Considering the proven long range performance of the .17 HMR and the accuracy of the 817’s bull barrel, a cope is definitely a must, and mounting one is a breeze thanks to the factory-installed Weaver-style scope bases, which are included with each gun.
