Ruger Introduces New 10/22 with Modular Stock System

Sturm, Ruger & Company has introduced the 10/22 Compact with the Ruger’s Modular Stock System.

Gun Tests Editor Todd Woodard said, "The Modular Stock System allows for length-of-pull adjustment to accommodate shooters of various sizes as well as variations in thickness of outerwear. With a low comb height and 12.5-inch length of pull, this 10/22 model is ideal for training younger shooters."

Other features of the 22 LR include front and rear fiber-optic sights, a push-button cross-bolt manual safety, and a cold hammer-forged barrel. It also has a combination scope base adapter for both Weaver-style and .22 tip-off scope mounts included. The extended magazine release provides easy removal of the flush-mounted magazine. The heat-stabilized glass-filled polymer trigger housing assembly provides impact and abrasion resistance.
