Hi there,
I have been a subscriber to Gun Tests for a long period of time. I just received this email asking me to download the magazine. The last issue that I can find in my house, is the May 2020 issue, but on it it says I had a subscription through Feb 2021. I tried to upload a picture of the mailing label but this website doesn’t appear to allow that . On the label it says #890918002563# Expires:; Feb 2021 Issue. My name is George Metaksa, my address is 59 Furrier Ct., Ponte Vedra, FL3208-8326. How can I get the back issues and I would like to resubscribe to the hard copy version that I can hold in my hands. Thanks
Just a few comments on your buckshot article. Many years ago my father had a small steel fabricating shop in Cleveland. While there was some crime there it was sporadic.
My dad would often work late doing paperwork and it would get pretty dark sometimes. He kept a 12 gauge 870 for protection. He had a friend who was a Cleveland police district captain. He gave my dad some 12 gauge #4 buckshot loads and advised him that the cops preferred them over 00 as they were more effective in stopping a bad guy (better hit probability with 27 pellets), A few years later while visiting a friend in Louisville KY I saw what he meant. A couple of bad guys who had just robbed a store were being chased down an alley. Two shots of #4 buckshot dropped both of them. One for good and the other was put out of commission.
One word of advice from the captain to my dad: BOB IF THEY ARE INSIDE YOUR BUSINESS THEY ARE YOUR BUSINESS, IF THE ARE OUT SIDE THEY ARE OUR BUSINESS !!
Do u have a list of A+ handguns. also I’ve been trying to find a home defense barrel for my Remington 870 shotgun any help appreciated. Love your magazine. i keep all.
