The trigger is the heart of a rifle, so we take out a quartet of replacement 10/22 releases, from Ruger, Tandemkross, Timmy, and Volquartsen. All have merit, but each is suited to a specific role.

We recently tested four replacement triggers for the 10/22 rifle, the Ruger BX-Trigger, $75; Tandemkross Manticore, $375; Timney Calvin Elite, $305; and Volquartsen TG2000, $339. They are different enough that some will find a perfect trigger among them, but each one has characteristics that we think favor some uses over others.
